Al Pelegrén
Creative Itineraries to Explore and Enjoy
Excursions, tastings, workshops: a mix of experiences on the Bolognese Apennines to get in touch with the environment and local culture and traditions in the Upper Idice Valley … and more!
Tireless and curious life travelers.
We, pilgrims, do not walk only: when we travel along common roads, paths and trails, we immerse ourselves in the nature, also meeting people who live in the places where we arrive. We listen carefully to their voices to learn about their history and their traditions, very often told in dialect, in front of a local cuisine dish. And despite the many kilometers traveled, we continue to get excited in front of the wonder of a landscape.
“Traveling always takes us to an infinite space…!”
About us
“Al Pelegrén” in Bolognese dialect means “Il Pellegrino” and it is the name we chose for this project because it describes us perfectly: we are Michele and Liliana, a couple of pilgrim souls, passionate explorers, who transformed their way of being, into a profession. We slowly travel across places, diving into nature, history, traditions, food and wine culture and then share the experiences with small groups of people. Starting from our territory, a small part of Appennino Bolognese, rich in biodiversity and history to discover, going towards the rest of the world, with a slow pace and a curious eye. Would you join us?
“In life I have always looked for the Egg of Columbus, that is, small and simple things, those that create great things!”
(L. Guglielmi, gardener of Italo Calvino)
