Best time of the year to leave
The Via degli Dei is a walkable path from spring to autumn. In spring the ground can be quite muddy, but nature gives its best in terms of blooms and views. In summer it rains very little, but in the low-altitude stretches, it can get very hot, especially at the beginning and end of the path. In autumn there is a risk of some rain, but once again nature puts on a show with its colours.
